It's raining, It's pouring

Summer has just gone.

It's raining!

It's pouring!

I still have to go to school.

I am glad my mum's there for me.

Kapai Kid, Kapai Mum. Kapai means good job in Maori.

The rain fell the whole night and whole day. I was quite worried driving to work today.

Another soaking is on the way for northern and western regions as a large area of unstable air creates a low pressure system in the northern Tasman Sea. This low will again pull down tropical moisture and potentially dump heavy rain over northern New Zealand.

This could have been the Netherlands! Today it's dry and so was yesterday! But cycling in the rain is not fun!

School is no fun when it rains. It was wet the whole day, kids have to stay inside at playtime and at lunch time. Even the roofed balconies were wet. There was no where for the kids to sit outside. They get restless and ask if they could play outside.

Some kids got wet coming to school. They got wet going home.
